​Event Information:

• Band Blitz Media Day will take place on August 1.

• Each session will cost $125.

• Time slots are first come, first serve.

• This is an all-inclusive charge, covering:

  • Full multi-track audio production recording

  • Mixing and mastering of both songs

  • Two fully edited and produced videos to accompany the music

• A $25 non-refundable deposit is due by March 31st to secure your spot.

• Bands must be paid in full by August 1. Bands not paid by August 1 may lose their spot. (No Refunds)

• Payments and schedules must be made in person or over the phone, not online. 

• Times will be 30-minute slots, starting at 11:00 am and the last slot will be at 9:00 pm.

 

Band Information:

• Bands will have 30 minutes allocated for setup, recording, filming 2 songs, and cleaning up.

• Bands must check in no later than 30 minutes before their scheduled time.

• Upon check-in, bands will wait in Studio D, allowing time for tuning and preparation.

• At the scheduled time, bands will proceed to Studio E to set up and prepare for recording and filming.

• Bands that are not checked in on time (30 minutes prior to scheduled time) may lose their spot and deposit.

• A keyboard bench or stool will be available for use.

• Drummers need to bring their own sticks, but not cymbals. Outside cymbals cannot be used or added. We also sell sticks if you forget yours. A single drum pedal is available, you must bring in your own double kick pedal. 

• Stage plot must remain the same for all bands, no moving amps around the stage.

• No outside lighting is allowed. We will have professional video lights. Color choices for lights are available and must be chosen on the band questionnaire before Media Day.

• Bands must completely fill out their form for registering before August 1. A link will be provided when the deposit is made.

• Multiple takes are allowed but must remain within the time limit.

• Maximum songs allowed is 2.

• Bands will receive their audio in MP3 format, and their videos as MP4 files, within 4-6 weeks.

• Please respect the studio and all equipment. Listen to the sound engineer and videographer to make a more pleasant and seamless session.

• Failure to follow the established rules may result in the termination of the recording session without a refund.

• Solo singers may bring in a track to sing over (maximum 2 songs).

• Bands and artists may also lip-sync over previously recorded tracks, limited to 2 songs.

• Entourages are not permitted. Only band members actively participating in the recording session are allowed.

 

Equipment Guidelines:

• All bands must utilize Stay Tuned Studios' provided amps, drums, and cymbals.

• No alterations (additions or removals) to cymbals or drums are permitted.

• Drummers may adjust drums and throne to their preference.

• Musicians must bring their own instruments. (Drums will be provided, no outside drums)

Band Members:

• Maximum band size is 7 members.

• 2 Guitars: You can have up to 2 guitarists in the band.

• 1 Bass: There can be one bass player.

• 1 Drummer: One drummer is allowed.

• 1 Keyboard: You can include one keyboardist.

• 2 Alt Instruments: You may have up to two alternate instrument players, such as horn players, flutists, harmonica players, accordionists, etc.

• 3 Vocalists: Out of the maximum seven members, only three can be vocalists.

• You can any combo of these up to seven members max. 

• Musicians must bring their own instruments except for drummers. 

• All amps and drums will be provided. No outside amps or cymbals. 

 

Song Selection:

• Songs may be original compositions or covers.

• Stay Tuned Studios does not hold or own any rights to any songs recorded.

 Schedule and Preparation: 

• Stay Tuned Studios will make efforts to maintain the schedule.

• Bands are expected to arrive fully prepared with both songs rehearsed prior to recording.

 

Additional Note:

• Any requested changes to the mix or video edit may result in additional charges. We will strive to deliver our ultimate best with no changes needed.
